Training and building the capacity of GRAG’s target populations are key to acquiring the optimal results. GRAG collaborates with its strategic partners to conduct training in specific countries where gender and sexual-based discrimination is prevalent and to bring about behavioral change and social acceptance within the social groups. Our training and capacity building activities involve:

  • Working with community members (civil society and community based organizations, etc.) to understand, support and educate minority groups.
  • Designing capacity building programs including different modules for subpopulations among minority groups (IDU, PLHVA, sex workers, adolescent girls, married, etc.).
  • Providing comprehensive advice and technical support to governments, donor agencies and corporations involved in programs and initiatives targeting minorities.
  • Developing training material and guidelines for health professionals to provide psychosocial assistance to women, adolescents’ girls and boys, and children.
