Identifying health issues and determining its solutions cannot be done in isolation, but requires working within the current health system. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a health system “comprises all organizations, institutions and resources devoted to producing actions whose primary intent is to improve health”. GRAG establishes strategic partnerships with both private and public organizations, as well as community leaders to mobilize the necessary actors, share skills, and ensure the effective utilization of resources to make a positive impact. Additionally, these partnerships enable GRAG to better collaborate on projects and share learning.
Other aspects of our networking initiative include:

Facilitating an easily accessible database with advocacy tools and research and training materials related to GRAG priority issues and target group
Encouraging communication with communities about the relevant health issues
Disseminating research findings, successful approaches and experiences.
