Learning and Capacity Building Program Coordinator
Ameth Diallo is completing a Ph.D in the English Department at Gaston Berger University in Saint Louis, where he studied Translation and Interpretation. His researches are centered on African Studies and the African Thought. He holds a teaching position at the Department of English and the Department of Communication as Assistant Professor. He is also a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, President Obama’s flagship program for the African Youth (Young African Leaders Initiative). During his fellowship, he studied Leadership, Business, Entrepreneurship and Project Management in the Henry Tippie College of Business, the Institute for International Business and the John Papajohn Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Iowa, USA. He has a keen interest on research and advocacy dealing with current major issues such as human rights, equity and social justice, good governance and the rule of law among others. Working with GRAG as Learning and Capacity Building Program Coordinator gives him an opportunity to put into practice his skills, while expecting to accumulate additional expertise contributing to position this organization as leader in research and advocacy field.
